Experience in the implementation and development of social services for children and families at risk is as long as the organisation itself. The idea of DOKKICA was originally conceived as a project (called Children's Creative House in Osijek - DOKKICA) of the Breza Youth Work Association<\/i>, which focused on children and young people without adequate parental support. DOKKICA was initiated as a prevention programme, and in 2011 it was established as an organisation to deliver prevention programmes for and within community.<\/p>

DOKKICA has implemented and still implementing projects, programs, initiatives and activities aimed at creating better conditions for a better life quality for children and families. From 2014 until 2017, we implemented a three-year project My Support<\/em> , which got approved as a part of the Call of\nthe Ministry of Labour, Pensions, Social Policy and Youth (then the Ministry of Social Policy and Youth, later the Ministry of Demography, Family, Youth and Social Policy). Developing and expanding network of social services provided by civil society organisations, as well as from 2017 to 2020, a program called Development of alternative innovative services \u2013 alternative support centers for children and parents<\/em> and from 2020 to 2023 will run a three-year program Alternative Support Center for Children and Parents<\/em> within she same call. In 2017 starts the implementation of project called Peace is my Thing (Mir je moj \u0111ir)<\/em> approved within the Call for applications of projects of associations in the field of violence prevention against and among children and youth of the Ministry of Demography, Family, Youth and Social Policy. Two more projects with a same name within these calls were implemented during 2018 and 2019, and in 2017 the project Dad too is important (I tata je va\u017ean)<\/em> is also part of the Call for projects of associations aimed at supporting families and promoting and protecting children\u2019s rights in the Republic of Croatia, Ministries of Demography, Family, Youth and Social Policy. The projects with the same name were implemented during 2018 and 2019.<\/p>

The implementation of the above mentioned three-year program Alternative Support Center for Children and Parents<\/em> and project RODITELJIONICA \u2013 program to strengthen parenthood<\/em> approved under the Call for Projects of Associations Aimed at Parenting Support for 2021 by the Central State Office for Demography and Youth is underway. The implementation of the project Development of Innovative Social Services project \u2013 Integrative Counseling and Support Center<\/em>.<\/p>

Mission and vision of the Children\u2019s Creative Centre DOKKICA<\/em><\/strong><\/p>

MISSION of the organisation is to provide support to children in growing up and developing their potential through various programs and activities that encourage active participation, creativity, development of social skills and self-confidence in order to direct them to a better life and encourage\nsociety to better education.<\/p>

VISION of the organisation is to become an important social centre that children, youth, parents and the community will recognise as a place of support, cooperation, (pro)active (co)action, creative development and positive personal and social changes.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
